Avante Signs Exclusive Distribution Agreement  with AMEL ADVANCE of Saudi Arabia for Deployment of smartboxxTM

TORONTO, December 8, 2009 - Avante Security Corp. (TSXV:ASY) (“Avante” or the "Company") is pleased to announce it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement for the deployment of Avante smartboxxTM units in Saudi Arabia under a multi-phase deployment agreement with Amel Advance of Riyadh.  Avante has commenced manufacturing for shipment of an initial several hundred Avante smartboxxTM wireless gateway controllers to Saudi Arabia in early 2010. 

AGREEMENT AND INITIAL SHIPMENT

Under the terms of the agreement, Amel Advance (“Amel”) will act as agent and as exclusive distributor for the Company's new Avante smartboxxTM family of technologies in Saudi Arabia.  Based on the extensive need for both security and energy saving products in the country as well as strong interest received regarding the innovative Avante smartboxxTM solution, Avante and Amel anticipate the potential for sales of one million units over the next five years.  “The first shipment of smartboxxTM units will be in local markets by early in the first quarter of 2010 with additional shipments to follow shortly thereafter,” said Emmanuel Mounouchos, President and CEO, Avante Security Corp.  "This distribution agreement is part of Avante's expanding international network for the introduction of the smartboxxTM technology outside of Canada as interest for the Avante smartboxxTM family of technologies continues to grow throughout North and South America, the Middle East and Europe.”
