Avante Announces Smarteye Family of Products Now Available on BlackBerry App World
TORONTO, May 5, 2009 – Avante Security Corp. (TSXV:ASY) (“Avante” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce its family of smarteye technologies is now availableon BlackBerry® App World™. The Avante smarteye products consist of the smarteye Live mobile software for various IP cameras including Sony, Lorex, Panasonic, and Avante’s proprietary smarteye camera. The smarteye Live software enables remote viewing of live video on any BlackBerry® 8xxx or BlackBerry® 9xxx series smartphone. The proprietary Avante smarteye video alarm camera includes easy plug’n’play installation, transmission of one-way audio, remote access of video and audio to a BlackBerry smartphone, and has the unique ability to function as a video alarm stand-alone system which can be armed or disarmed remotely from a BlackBerry smartphone. Once armed, any motion detected in the camera’s field of vision will transmit the image to ant email address and to the BlackBerry smartphone, up to three designated email addresses can be programmed.
Avante has been a BlackBerry® Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Alliance member since 1999, and is developing additional applications based on its Avante smartboxx technologies for remote device management via BlackBerry smartphones.
