Manny founded Avante in 1996 with a vision of developing a company that would apply technology to distinguish itself from its competition. He has been involved in the security industry for over 20 years and has been responsible for the strategic vision, business development, research and development, and overall management of Avante since its inception. With an educational background in electronics, he recognized the advantage that technology could play in the differentiation of Avante’s solutions. In order to meet the security requirements of Avante’s clientele, Manny developed the first prototype SmartBoxx^TM over 10 years ago. Since then, Avante has installed this technology in businesses and residences alike with outstanding success and client satisfaction. Manny continues to be involved in the research and development of the SmartBoxx^TM to continually add new applications to meet customer demands.  

 

George joined Avante in 2010 to work with Manny towards realizing the company’s vision and executing its business plan. He is the Founder of Riverdale Capital Corporation, a private investment company he created in 2009 and formerly was a partner and co-founder of TorQuest Partners Inc. where he had been since its inception in early 2002.   Prior to TorQuest, George was an investment principal at Harrowston Inc., a publicly traded merchant bank. Prior to Harrowston, he worked with Ernst & Young LLP, managing a group focused on middle market companies. George was recognized in 2007 as one of Canada's Top 40 under 40. He is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization while serving on the Advisory Board for the Queen's MBA program and as a director for the Association for Corporate Growth Toronto Chapter. He also serves as a director of the Toronto East General Hospital Foundation.

  

Raghu joined Avante in September 2010. He is an experienced finance professional, having worked more than 15 years in various service related industries including staffing, oilfield services and public accounting. Raghu brings a global perspective to his role, as he has worked in diverse environments over three continents. Prior to joining Avante, Raghu spent 7 years at Sapphire Technologies Canada (formerly CNC Global limited) Canada’s largest IT Staffing Company, most recently as the Vice President – Finance. Prior to joining Sapphire Technologies, Raghu worked at MB Petroleum Group of Companies, which is engaged in oilfield services, where he expanded his global perspective, working in Oman, Hungary and Germany as Controller over a 6 year period. Previously he was with KPMG LLP in the Sultanate of Oman for three years, handling several audit and assurance engagements.   Raghu earned a Master's degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech in the U.S.A. He also holds a Chartered Accountant designation from his native India.
